Teen & Young Adult Square Dance Club
ABOUT US
H-Town Squares is a local square dance and line dance club that has grown into one of the largest in Texas.
We have two dance clubs under one umbrella of H-town Squares. We are primarily a teen and young adult club, with 90% of our members in this age group. Our teen club has members between the ages of 13 and 19 and our young adult group starts with Seniors in high school and goes through the age of 30. Our vision is to provide a fun, Christian, "high-energy" activity for Christian teens and young adults through the gift of dance.
Our background: We started as a homeschooling club and have many homeschoolers, their friends, and families as members of our teen club. Our club has greatly expanded and we now offer both a teen club and a young adult club.
H-Town Squares encourages the whole family to participate; allowing teens and parents the opportunity to learn together, while enjoying the social and physical aspects of dancing.
As students graduate from high school they are eligible for college scholarships sponsored by the Texas Square and Round Dance Association. They can also move up into our young adult club.

Donations: All donations to H-Town Squares are considered charitable contributions and tax-deductible pending the approval of our 501(c)(3) application by the IRS, which we fully expect.

If you'd like to check out our next "Just for Fun" dance, where guests join us to try square dancing, it will be on Friday, April 5th. It will be a fun night of square AND line dancing and it is also our spring fundraiser!! Just for fun dances are for experienced and inexperienced
dancers!!

Our lessons occur in the Spring and Summer/Fall.

The Texas State Federation of Square & Round Dancers encompasses local associations including The Sam Houston Square and Round Dance Association, of which H-Town Squares is a member. We highly encourage visiting other square dance clubs to gain experience and to discover the different "quirks" that make each caller unique.
